Get your 'laughing gear' ready for World Medicines first ever, 'BIG LAUGH' in aid of World Medicine. A date will be circulated soon for a funtastic fundraising comedy night, some where in london town. We hope you bring all your friends along and hope us to raise loads of money from ticket sales and the raffle.

What happened?

March 2011

We started off the year with another fantastic fundraiser at The Smithfield Tavern in London. Guests were sporting a wonderful variety of 'Lashes and Tashes', in-line with the fancy dress theme. Comedian Barry Ferns took to the stage to host the night, whilst guests were entertained by Vicky Alkali, American Tony and headlined by the unique sounds of Ta Mere. Dozens of wonderful prizes, some worth up to £2,000, were generously donated for the auction, raffle and lucky dip. Thankyou so much for all of you who supported our party we raised over £3000 for world medicine, this will pay for stuff like equipment for future trips and go towards basic admin costs for running world medicine like postage!
