Past Projects

 Case study GiselaTreating.JPG

'An overweight middle-aged lady speaks in a low voice.  Like so many others in Gaza she complains of swollen painful knees.  She explains the difficulties in which she has to walk and do her job as a teacher.  She has so far had 3 treatments with acupuncture and already feels the pain has reduced.  She discusses the problem of Tramadol, a strong painkiller readily available over the counter here and highly addictive. She wants natural treatment.  She is depressed and cries as she explains she is a widow bringing up 4 orphans.  She says the acupuncture also helps her to sleep'
